CSRD reporting strengthens transparency and comparability / Additional Sustainability Highlight Report provides a concise overview of key progress
ENERCON has published its Corporate Sustainability Report 2025, marking the company’s first sustainability report aligned with the requirements of the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and prepared in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and the EU Taxonomy.
By voluntarily reporting at group level, ENERCON underlines its commitment to transparent, standardised and comparable sustainability reporting and positions itself early to meet future regulatory requirements.
“We see CSRD not as an obligation, but as an opportunity to strengthen transparency and comparability. By reporting ahead of regulatory requirements, we provide our customers, partners and stakeholders with reliable information to support their decision-making and long-term planning. This is how we build trust and contribute to a more transparent and resilient energy market,” says ENERCON CEO Udo Bauer.
“With our first CSRD-aligned sustainability report, we are establishing a reliable basis for transparency and comparability while proactively preparing for future regulatory requirements,” says Eva Lotta Schmidt, Head of Global Sustainability at ENERCON. “Most importantly, the report reflects the daily contributions of our employees worldwide, who are actively driving our sustainability strategy forward.”
Comprehensive insights into sustainability performance

Proactive approach beyond regulatory requirements
