Focus on E-175 EP5 E2 update, battery storage systems, hybrid tower concepts and intelligent system integration for maximum project profitability
At WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 from 22 to 25 September, ENERCON will be exhibiting in HallA4, Stand 244 with a clear message: modern wind energy projects require morethan just a powerful wind turbine. Following the guiding principle ‘Unfoldingthe value of green energy’, the company positions itself as a holistic solutions provider committed to increasing the profitability and value of windenergy projects throughout their entire life cycle. Reaching beyond turbine performance alone, the focus is on site-specific tower concepts such as hybrid steel towers, the integration of various technologies, greater flexibility, and the continuous optimisation of wind turbine operation.
More yield, more flexibility: ENERCON solutions for the wind energy of tomorrow
ENERCON’s E-175 EP5 E2 platform will be the focal point of the company’s trade fair appearance. Crowned ‘Turbine of theYear 2025’ by WindPower Monthly, it is one of the highest-yielding onshore wind energy converters in Europe and is designed to meet the project requirements of the future. The manufacturer will be demonstrating how wind turbine operators can achieve optimum yield with the new ENERCON top model and through continuous optimisation of operations throughout the entire project life cycle.
ENERCON will present its extensive portfolio of wind energy converter solutions in Hamburg, which links end-to-end project engineering, connected operations and smart optimisation. It includes the ready-for-delivery hybrid steel towers (HST) with a resilient, diversified supply chain, which tap into additional site potentials and meet the increasing customer demands for hybrid tower concepts. With Wind+ Storage ENERCON also presents a holistic solution for various storage applications, intelligent energy supplyand additional market opportunities arising through the combined use of wind energy and battery storage systems. The portfolio is supplemented by flexible service and optimisation concepts that support operators according to their needs in the various phases of the turbine life cycle – from commissioning and ongoing operation to long-term operating control. In addition, ENERCON also presents end-to-end solutions for industrial self-supply with wind energy.

As a provider of integrated solutions for the connected Green Energy Ecosystem, ENERCON supports its customers in the realization of onshore wind energy projects. To fully unlock project potential, the company combines its high-performance, high-yield wind turbines with complementary solution components and services, enhancing customer benefits and the overall value of wind energy. The range of the solution portfolio, from which customers can select modules according to their requirements, extends from planning and installation to management and control, service and maintenance, and optimisation of system performance during the operational phase.
As a pioneer in renewable energy with over 40 years of experience and a deep understanding of the demands of a changing energy system, ENERCON’s scope has always extended beyond mere wind turbines. With the mission ‘Energy for the World’, the company has been committed to sustainable energy generation from onshore wind since 1984. Thanks to its innovative turbine technology, high quality standards, and an installed total capacity of more than 65 gigawatts, ENERCON is among the world’s leading renewable energy companies.
With extensive expertise in the area of ‘holistic project development’, ‘connected operation’, and ‘smart optimisation’, a dense service network, and a broad network of partners and service providers, ENERCON is a competent and reliable partner for its customers in all project phases. Headquartered in Aurich, Lower Saxony, the company employs around 13,000 people at administrative, sales, production, and service locations worldwide.
