Job description

Offering installation, maintenance and servicing of ENERCON wind turbines, ENERCON Services are responsible for maintenance of 5000 turbines across Region Western Europe. Our Head Office is located in Tralee, Co. Kerry, with our branch office situated in Santry, Co. Dublin. We have 15 service stations dotted throughout Ireland & Northern Ireland located in Tralee, Bantry, Millstreet, Newcastle West, Thurles, Enniscorthy, Kilkenny, Ennis, Moycullen, Ballina, Collooney, Laghey, Burt, Coleraine and Omagh. Reporting to the Manager of Major Component Replacement IE & GB, ENERCON Windfarm Services Ireland ltd is now recruiting a Team Leader on the Update Support Team.

Your tasks

• Day to day planning of works for the full team.

• Leading a daily tool box talk on site with the full team.

• Monitor works completed and readjusting where required to ensure progress against target.

• Team Administration duties including (but not limited too) recording team work hours, daily progress reports and defect reports.

• Undertake physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.

• Responsible for checking all components to ensure the high manufacturing standards are met at all times.

• Work together with site supervisor and subcontractors on site.

• Adhering to site rules, policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Be the direct point of contact to the MCR Manager.

• Providing feedback on progress of new entrants.

• Responsibility for the implementation and application of good health and safety practices within the team.

• Interaction with H&S dept on improvement of work practices.

Your qualifications

• Trade qualification preferable but not a necessity (Construction/Carpenter/ Mechanical)

• Background in leading teams to meet quality and progress in a site based environment is desirable

• A valid Safe Pass Card /CSR essential

• Banksman / Slinger Course, CSCS Card, Telescopic Loader Ticket and/or MEWP are a distinct advantage

• Full, clean driving license essential

• Proficient in MS Office applications     

• Ability to manage work load effectively

• Physically fit and comfortable with heights

• High mobility is essential – willingness to move and to travel nationwide and abroad

• Ability to multitask and work to deadlines and targets

• Have a positive, pro-active approach to working in a team environment along with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
