Job description

Offering installation, maintenance and servicing of ENERCON wind turbines, ENERCON Services are responsible for maintenance of 5000 turbines across Region Western Europe. Our Head Office is located in Tralee, Co. Kerry, with our branch office situated in Santry, Co. Dublin. We have 15 service stations dotted throughout Ireland & Northern Ireland located in Tralee, Bantry, Millstreet, Newcastle West, Thurles, Enniscorthy, Kilkenny, Ennis, Moycullen, Ballina, Collooney, Laghey, Burt, Coleraine and Omagh. Reporting to the local Field Area manager, ENERCON is now recruiting Electrical Field Service technicians for throughout Ireland.

Your tasks

• Service, maintenance and repair of ENERCON wind turbines across the country (from a central base location)

• Responsible for a variety of state of the art electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment

• Fault finding and reporting on mechanical and electrical equipment

• Responsible for completing all computerised documentation/reporting Ensuring appropriate stock levels are managed and maintained in the team vehicle

• Adhering to site rules, policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

• Adhering to Wind Turbine Safety rule and guidelines, completing all of the required documentation and reporting

• Weekend emergency call out service and late shift work involved


Your qualifications

• Qualified as an electrical technician (trade qualified electrician, electrical engineer)

• Previous experience working on wind turbines is an advantage

• Full clean driving license and Safe Pass Card are essential

• Highly articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Flexibility and high mobility required - willingness to travel to meet the companies’ requirements

• Physically fit and comfortable with height

• Good IT Skills are essential
