Conduct with integrity and in compliance with the rules is a top priority for ENERCON and forms the basis of our corporate success. It is therefore of great importance to become aware of potential misconduct and to put a stop to it.
The ENERCON Whistleblowing System offers employees, business partners and other affected persons the opportunity to report (potential) compliance violations.
We examine every report conscientiously and follow it up consistently. An important pillar of the Whistleblowing System is the principle of a fair process. We guarantee the greatest possible protection for whistleblowers, those affected and the employees involved in clarifying the information. Discrimination against whistleblowers and all persons who contribute to promoting integrity at ENERCON will not be tolerated. The presumption of innocence applies to those affected until the violation has been proven. Investigations will be conducted with the utmost confidentiality. The information will be processed within the framework of a fair and protected process.
Reports can be submitted via the digital Whistleblowing System, by email to compliance@enercon.de or to the ENERCON ombudsman. Of course, the respective supervisor is also available as a contact person for ENERCON employees.
In order to protect anonymity as best as possible, we recommend submitting reports via the digital Whistleblowing System from private devices outside the company network. Furthermore, we advise to manually enter the web address of the digital Whistleblowing System:
enercon.integrityline.com/frontpage
In order for the whistleblower to be processed and investigated appropriately, we ask that you describe the whistleblower as specifically as possible. Ideally, these questions should be considered:
Who? What? When? How? Where?
Descriptions should be formulated in such a way that even non-specialist persons can understand them. The processing of reports is facilitated if the whistleblower is available to answer questions. The digital Whistleblower System and the ombudsman make this possible even when completely anonymous reports are submitted.

ENERCON Grievance Mechanism
ENERCON's whistleblowing system also functions as a grievance mechanism . As an expression of corporate responsibility and in line with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the grievance mechanism provides potentially affected stakeholders with access to remedy.
The ENERCON grievance mechanism is available not only to all employees of ENERCON (including their legal representatives) but also to business partners (including their employees as well as their legal
representatives) and otherwise affected persons (e.g. residents in the neighbourhood of an ENERCON Group production site) or organisations (e.g. media representatives, non-governmental organisations).
Further information can be found in the Rules of Procedure for the Grievance Mechanism. These are available in six languages: German, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Turkish.
