ENERCON employees have the chance to purchase their energy from renewable sources. The green electricity generated from hydropower and wind energy from ENERCON wind energy converters comes entirely from Germany.

+ Onboarding

In order to integrate new employees into ENERCON as effectively as possible, many companies provide a structured onboarding process with a training plan, a fixed point of contact and much more. The aim is that employees feel at ease straight away and are not thrown in at the deep end. In addition, many sites offer assistance in finding somewhere to live, for example via a housing portal on the intranet.

+ Flexible working hours and remote working

Many companies in the ENERCON network offer flexible working hours and part-time models to enable employees to achieve a good work/life balance. In addition, the goal of offering the opportunity to work remotely is gradually getting closer for those operations where it is viable.

At several sites in Aurich and Magdeburg, ENERCON offers its employees the chance to enjoy a freshly prepared meal while chatting with colleagues every day in their lunch break. A diverse selection of dishes are offered, as well as a salad bar. Desserts and various snacks can also be purchased.

Tea warms your heart. Coffee soothes your soul. You can enjoy coffee and many different varieties of tea every day free of charge at lots of ENERCON sites. Fresh fruit is also provided weekly at some locations to give you the necessary vitamin boost.

Doing sport in your free time is good for you and has a positive effect on your health. ENERCON is a member of Hansefit, the German market leader for company fitness. With over 2,300 partners in Germany, Hansefit offers a wide range of sport and relaxation opportunities. In exchange for a small monthly fee, employees can use gyms and other facilities such as swimming pools. As well as this, several companies boast a Healthcare Manager who is on hand to offer help and advice, and some even offer an ergonomics consultation.

+ Parking and mobility

Adequate free parking is available at the majority of ENERCON sites. In addition, a number of sites also have charging stations for e-vehicles that can be used at no cost. Pool vehicles and bikes are also provided for business purposes at some locations.

+ Childcare

Employees at the site in Aurich can make use of the company’s own kindergarten ‘Kita Wirbelwind’ to help them reconcile work and family life. The kindergarten offers both crèche and kindergarten places for children aged between 1 and 6.

+ Employee discounts

ENERCON employees receive great discounts at numerous companies around the sites in Aurich, Emden and Magdeburg. Furthermore, staff based in the vicinity of these three sites can also purchase climate-neutral gas from the Stadtwerke Aurich municipal utilities at attractive rates.

Employee events are a fantastic team building measure, but also give ENERCON the chance to thank its employees for their dedication and hard work. ENERCON regularly hosts a diverse range of employee events.
