Welcome to our Career Portal and thank you for your interest in our company. The purpose of this privacy statement is to inform you about how we handle your personal data. All ENERCON companies to which you apply are obliged to observe the privacy statement. It applies to the processing of personal data for the purposes of our Career Portal. Any processing of personal data by ENERCON takes place in strict adherence to statutory data protection regulations.

Please read the following information carefully. By activating the checkbox to indicate acceptance of this privacy statement you are giving your consent to data processing as described in this document.

1. User account

Every user is required to create a user account in order to register in our application wizard. For this user account we need the following information from you: first name/last name, user name, password and e-mail address.

The retention period for your user account is 6 months following completion of the application procedure. The system will automatically delete your user account upon expiry of the retention period.

If you have another application in process at the time a retention period expires, the retention period will be extended until completion of that application.

2. Application-related data

In the course of an online application procedure the following information about you may be stored, including but not limited to: contact details, date of birth, secondary school qualification, training qualification, college/university degree, references, CV, other certifications. Any answers and information provided will be stored together with your name until expiry of the retention period.

After that, results will be anonymised and stored for further statistical analysis only. This statistical data record does not allow any inferences about a natural person and serves as a basis for statistical analyses.

3. Use and circulation of personal data

You are hereby consenting to the use and circulation of your data to the employees involved in the selection process during the application procedure. By completing a separate data release form before sending your application you give your consent to being included in our applicants pool so that Human Resources staff from all domestic ENERCON companies have access to your application documents. If you give your consent, chances are that also other ENERCON companies will contact you if they have adequate vacancies that match your profile. We or the persons authorised by us will not pass on your data to third parties in any form whatsoever unless you have given your consent or there is an official order to do so.

4. Modification and deletion of data

You can review, correct or cancel your application and delete your profile in the Career Portal at any time.

Please note that any modification to your profile will affect the application as a whole and that you resign from all active and completed applications in the event that your data are deleted.

5. Concurrent applications to multiple ENERCON companies

In the event that you apply for multiple jobs at different ENERCON companies at the same time, the relevant Human Resources departments to which you applied directly are informed about all concurrent applications. This is part of our endeavour to ensure efficient processing of applications. Application data will not be passed on.

6. Data security

We have taken extensive technological and operational precautions to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. We review and adapt our security procedures on a regular basis to keep up with technological progress.

When you register in or log on to our Career Portal you also provide personal information about yourself. To prevent this information from falling into wrong hands we use TLS (Transport Layer Security) to encrypt your personal data end-to-end. This is a tried-and-tested, state-of-the-art internet data transfer method that is highly secure.

7. Your rights

You have the right to request information about your personal data stored by us at any time. Furthermore, you have the right to request correction and, if applicable, updating and deletion of your personal data stored by us. If statutory regulations do not permit deletion your data will be locked instead (processing restrictions) so that they will only be accessible to comply with compulsive statutory regulations.
