Improving, configuring and building our Linux distributions via automated processes
Support and maintain the entire fleet of Linux systems in the context of cloud based industrial IoT and SCADA including testing, troubleshooting and up-dates
Maintaining and improving our network services (integrated in our Linux distribution)
Application packaging and maintenance of software repositories
Automating repetitive system administration tasks
Evaluating and recommending new hardware and software technologies or solutions
Analysis of requirements, creation of specifications and concepts
Your qualifications
Bachelor degree in computer science or similar
In depth knowledge of Linux and its package system, especially for Debian
Excellent Linux system and administration skills, also Knowledge about Linux Security (users, permissions, system hardening)
Good understanding of build systems and Ethernet based networks and network services
Solid understanding of firewalls, network protocols, general technical concepts and scripting languages like Bash, Python or any other high level programming language
Knowledge of agile methodology (scrum)
In depth knowledge of operating systems necessary
Very good skills in technical and business English and also good presentation and communication skills
This position can also be filled on part-time basis.
