Technical Product Designers are involved in the technical development of products. Learning to use CAD programs (technical drawing using a computer) is part of your training. You work closely together with Engineers, Design Engineers and other Product Designers and support their work. You accompany a product development process from concept through to finished product. For this, you will specialise in various programs during your training, in order to create and modify 3D data sets and documentation for components and assemblies. The theoretical content is taught at the vocational schools in Emden.
