The installation of modern wind farms requires a strategically optimised logistics department. It ensures that the various transport routes - by truck, sea or inland waterways, railways and aeroplanes - are both environmentally sustainable and economically viable and ideally interlinked. Logistics at ENERCON is organised into various areas. While our staff in Procurement Logistics take care of transport of raw materials and the delivery of bought-in components, Inter-Company Logistics carries out the transport of shell structures and segments between the individual ENERCON suppliers. Thanks to our logistics department, the right crane is always ready for installation on-site and our service teams benefit from optimum supply of the required equipment.
