The medium-sized business founded over 30 years ago has grown to become an internationally operating technology company. We are aware of the responsibility we have for our employees, and thanks to our long-term company development we can provide a stable working environment and offer the divisions and the respective employees a high degree of personal responsibility.

The Aloys Wobben Stiftung foundation established in 2012 ensures that the lifetime achievement of company founder Dr Aloys Wobben will be preserved. The Aloys Wobben Stiftung gives us the necessary level of independence to continue our success in developing sustainable concepts for renewable energy generation and supply, and secures the future of the company at the same time.
Our exclusive suppliers have a fundamental role in ensuring this independence, as they enable us to react to customer requests and internal challenges flexibly and quickly. Furthermore, we do not depend on outside investors and are able to cover short-term market “distortions” with the strength we have accumulated.
We are a company characterised by its owner, and our roots are in the small and medium-sized business sector. We grow independently, under our own steam and at a speed suitable for us.
Our growth is stable and intended for the long term.

We aim to develop and produce the highest-quality wind energy converter on the market. We do not define ourselves primarily in terms of the purchase price, but instead offer turbines with the lowest running costs per unit generated. The guaranteed WEC availability of 97 percent we offer as part of our ENERCON PartnerKonzept (EPK) contract ensures this quality standard is upheld in the long term. Together with our exclusive partners, we provide an effective global service network with more than 6,000 employees to meet this purpose.
